About Intergas

For more than 50 years, Intergas has focused on perfecting heating systems. During that time, we have grown into the market leader in the development of high-efficiency boilers. This status obliges us to also devise and develop solutions for the energy transition that meet the demand for comfortable warmth. Solutions based on objective data about energy consumption, enabling consumers to choose the best option for their home. With smart and innovative products, but also with sustainable energy sources and high-tech heating solutions that respond to the energy transition. We believe in a future where there is room for multiple heating solutions side by side. Advanced solutions such as all-electric and hybrid appliances, but also the ‘conventional’ gas-fired boiler. In this way, we are constantly exploring and pushing our boundaries, also geographically. We are active from Coevorden to Vancouver, from where we serve the North American market. The guiding principle is always the same: developing and producing reliable heating solutions with extremely high efficiency.

Intergas, part of Rheem

As of June 1, 2019, Intergas has been part of Rheem. This American company is the only one in the world that produces heating and cooling systems, water heating solutions, pool heating, and commercial refrigeration and freezing systems. In addition, Rheem is the largest producer of water heating solutions in North America. With the acquisition, Rheem aims to strengthen its position in the European market for heating and hot water solutions. At the same time, it gives Intergas the opportunity to develop new products and expand into other markets and regions.

Our visie

We envision a future in which all building owners and residents in Europe can easily and affordably switch to sustainable heating solutions. Through innovation and collaboration, we make sustainable warmth attractive and self-evident while reducing the use of fossil fuels. With Intergas as a driver of change, we work together with installers to build a warm and sustainable future, where comfort and responsibility go hand in hand.

Our Mission

We make sustainable and affordable warmth accessible to everyone. With our innovative heating and hot water systems, we minimise the use of fossil fuels and maximise efficiency and comfort. Our data-driven and practical approach guarantees reliable solutions: smart, circular products and valuable services. As a frontrunner, we inform and inspire the market and policymakers to accelerate the energy transition.

In 2030, we want to be able to say: “The world has become a little better, and our solutions have contributed to that.” Less emissions, more comfort, less waste. Sustainable and affordable warmth, for everyone.
