Servicing your boiler

You need to have your boiler serviced regularly to ensure it operates efficiently and safely. Please consult the documentation supplied with your appliance or contact your installer if you have any questions about using, servicing or maintaining your boiler. Below you’ll find answers to some of your questions about boiler maintenance. Click the relevant question to find your answer.

Can I make an appointment with Intergas if my boiler needs to be serviced?

No, we do not service boilers. Please contact your installer to arrange a service visit. You can find out who your installer is from your warranty card or your appliance’s purchase invoice. If you took out a maintenance contact, please call your service company. Please follow the above guidelines, regardless of how old your boiler is, even in the first two years of your factory warranty. If you live in rented accommodation, please contact your landlord or housing association.

How often should I have my boiler serviced?

Installation and servicing (and cleaning if required) should be carried out by a certified installer every year. NB: Any task involving gas appliances may only be performed by certified installers.

Can I take out a service contract with Intergas?

No. Intergas is a boiler manufacturer and does not provide service contracts. Please contact your installer or service company to arrange maintenance and servicing of your boiler.

How do I know who my installer is?

You can find out who your installer is from your warranty card or on your purchase invoice. Please use our ‘Find your installer’ search function and enter your postcode or town/city to find your nearest installer if you’ve lost your warranty card and/or purchase invoice, or you don’t know who installed your boiler. If you live in rented accommodation, please contact your landlord or housing association.
